Nintendo Music Adds Wii Sports Resort Soundtrack: 99 Tracks Now Available

Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Music catalog with the complete soundtrack from Wii Sports Resort, adding 99 tracks that run approximately 1 hour and 37 minutes.

The Nintendo Music app is available as a free download on iOS and Android and the service is accessible to users with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Wii Sports Resort is a 2009 sequel to the original Wii Sports developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii console.

The title introduced motion-driven mini-games centered on the fictional Wuhu Island and was widely recognized for using the Wii MotionPlus accessory to improve motion-tracking precision.

The addition of the game’s soundtrack to Nintendo Music brings a high-profile Wii-era score into the company’s growing catalog of classic game music.

According to the app listing and the announcement, the collection includes 99 separate tracks with a total runtime of roughly 1 hour and 37 minutes.

That makes the Wii Sports Resort upload one of the more substantial single-game additions to Nintendo Music to date.

The app itself is free to download on both iOS and Android devices; however, playback on the service requires an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.

A community tip pointing the editors to the upload was credited to Jason F, who notified outlets after discovering the new content in the app.

In reaction to the update, a longtime fan commented that while they consider the original Wii Sports a classic, Wii Sports Resort remains their personal favorite — especially citing the Wuhu Island flyover and the free-flight segments as standout experiences from their childhood.

This update continues Nintendo’s ongoing effort to make legacy game soundtracks more accessible to fans through official channels.

Nintendo Music’s expanding library now offers another way for players and collectors to revisit Nintendo’s audio history outside of console hardware, with titles from various eras appearing on mobile platforms.

For users who want to listen, the app can be found on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store; an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required to stream the catalog.
