Tokyo Wars Arcade Archives Release: Classic Namco Tank Shooter Arrives on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and More

Namco's revered arcade tank battler, Tokyo Wars, is making its long-awaited debut on home consoles thanks to Hamster Corporation's acclaimed Arcade Archives series.

Originally released in Japanese arcades in 1996, Tokyo Wars was a groundbreaking title on Namco's Super System 22 hardware, allowing up to eight players to step into immersive tank cockpits for intense urban warfare—either cooperating as a unit or facing off in competitive matches.
