PlaySide Studios and developer Fumi Games confirmed today that Mouse: P.I. For Hire has sold more than one million copies across all platforms, a milestone reached in less than three months after the game's global digital launch on April 16, 2026.

The studio reported that console units account for roughly 50 percent of total sales, with the remaining 50 percent coming from PC via Steam.

The game is available on Nintendo Switch 2.

The milestone arrived alongside continued post-launch support.

Fumi Games released a major update just days ago that introduced a Level Revisit feature; full patch notes have been published by the developer.

The studio has also rolled out physical editions and confirmed an upcoming Story DLC, indicating an active post-launch plan for additional content.

Fumi Games founder and CEO Mateusz Michalak expressed the team's gratitude, noting that the title began as a modest concept — a 1930s-inspired cartoon shooter — and has since reached far more players than the studio expected.

He emphasized that the team prioritized player experience throughout development and after launch, and said the new features, physical releases, and planned Story DLC are intended to reward and expand the game's audience.

Michalak closed by thanking the community for their support.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire launched digitally on April 16, 2026, and its rapid sales performance highlights the project's commercial momentum in its opening quarter on the market.

The sales split reported by PlaySide and Fumi provides a clear picture of platform performance to date: consoles and PC have contributed roughly equally to the game's one million-plus unit total.

For players and collectors, the availability of physical editions complements the digital offering, while the recent Level Revisit update and the forthcoming Story DLC provide concrete steps in the game's live-service roadmap.

Developers and industry observers can reference the official patch notes for technical details and content changes introduced in the latest update.

PlaySide Studios and Fumi Games' announcement documents a notable early success for Mouse: P.I. For Hire and confirms an active post-launch schedule as the title continues to be supported on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam.
