Althena’s Treasure Box Limited Edition Announced for Lunar Remastered Collection on Nintendo Switch

GungHo Online Entertainment America has announced the highly anticipated Althena’s Treasure Box, a limited-edition collector’s set for fans of the Lunar Remastered Collection on Nintendo Switch.

This release follows the April physical launch of the beloved JRPG franchise’s remastered compilation, which saw classic titles Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete updated for modern audiences.

While the game’s return to Nintendo’s hybrid console garnered praise for its nostalgic value and upgrades, dedicated Lunar fans initially missed the opportunity to obtain the exclusive collectibles that accompanied its Japanese rollout. The set includes a selection of distinctive items: an XL-sized themed T-shirt, a medium gaming mouse pad, a cloth poster, bromide trading cards, a lenticular print, an acrylic diorama, enamel pins, a keychain, and all components housed in a collectible treasure box-style packaging.

It’s important to note that Althena’s Treasure Box does not include either a physical or digital copy of the Lunar Remastered Collection itself.

Fans interested in owning the remastered games can still purchase the digital version through the Nintendo eShop for $49.99 USD / €49.99 EUR, or pick up a physical copy for $54.99 USD / €54.99 EUR.

Distribution for the limited edition in the US will be managed by well-known gaming accessory brand HORI, while Clear River Games will oversee shipments in Europe.

Orders are scheduled to begin shipping in September in the United States.
