Little Nightmares III and Enhanced Edition Confirmed for Switch 2 Launch on October 10, 2025

Bandai Namco and developer Supermassive Games have officially announced that both Little Nightmares III and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.

The highly anticipated Little Nightmares III is scheduled for a simultaneous global release on October 10, 2025, launching on Switch 2 alongside PC, Nintendo Switch (first generation), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series platforms.

This expansion in platform availability marks a significant step for the celebrated horror-puzzle franchise, furthering its cross-platform presence. Little Nightmares III will be available in several editions, catering to both digital and physical collectors.

The Standard Digital Edition includes the base game and an exclusive pre-order bonus: the Dark Six Costumes Set, fitting both protagonists Low and Alone.

This set pays homage to the original character who escaped The Maw.

Gamers seeking more immersive content can opt for the Deluxe Edition, which adds the "Secrets of the Spiral" Expansion Pass.

This DLC offers two additional chapters, providing deeper insight into the ominous world of The Spiral.

Also included are the Ferryman Costumes—exclusive attire for both characters inspired by the enigmatic figure known throughout The Nowhere—as well as the Resident Costumes Set, drawn from prominent figures in previous Little Nightmares games, including The Janitor, The Twin Chefs, The Lady, and The Hunter. Collectors will appreciate two exclusive physical editions.

The Mirror Edition will include the base game, original soundtrack, collectible stickers, a 12cm figurine, a metal case, a themed box, and an art book.

Pre-orders for the Mirror Edition also come with the Dark Six Costumes Set and Deluxe Edition content.

The Spiral Edition, available exclusively through the Bandai Namco Entertainment Store, includes all Mirror Edition items alongside additional collectibles such as a 22cm Nome controller (which doubles as a phone holder), a Nome Embroidered Brooch, and the Nome Costumes Set. Simultaneously, Bandai Namco has revealed Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, an updated release of the original Little Nightmares featuring enhanced graphics and new features.

This upgrade will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, also releasing on October 10, 2025.

As an added incentive, the Enhanced Edition is offered as a pre-order bonus for those purchasing Little Nightmares III on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, further enriching the launch offering. Both titles underscore Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games' commitment to expanding the Little Nightmares franchise on modern hardware.
