The action-packed sports title, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2, sold an additional 14,577 units this week, pushing its total sales past the 50,000 mark at 54,099 units. Last week’s leader, Sega’s Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties for PlayStation 5, saw a notable drop to fifth position, making room for Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined (Switch, Switch 2, and PS5) and Mario Kart World (Switch 2) to reclaim places in the top five.
Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined reaffirmed its multi-platform appeal by securing multiple top-ten spots, with Switch and Switch 2 versions selling 12,413 and 10,304 units respectively, and its PS5 edition moving 5,015 copies. Mario Kart World, another Switch 2 exclusive, continued its impressive run with 10,418 units sold this period, adding to an astonishing lifetime tally of over 2.83 million units.
Meanwhile, the ever-popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons remains a powerhouse, achieving combined sales of 6,675 units on Switch and 5,099 on Switch 2.
