According to the latest data released by Famitsu, the week of June 16th to June 22nd, 2025, saw the Nintendo Switch 2 moving an impressive 140,026 units.
This milestone brings its cumulative sales in Japan to over 1.24 million units since release, highlighting Nintendo's ongoing dominance in the hardware market amid stiff competition from Sony and Microsoft.

ATLUS's RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army debuted across several platforms, selling 21,146 units on Nintendo Switch, 19,248 on PlayStation 5, and 5,258 on PlayStation 4.
The title's launch on multiple platforms underscores ATLUS's commitment to reaching diverse gaming audiences while contributing to Japan's vibrant multi-platform software ecosystem.
LEVEL-5's FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, a fan-favorite RPG, continues its steady performance on the Nintendo Switch with 7,504 copies sold during the week, pushing its lifetime total to over 130,000 units.
Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom added thousands more sales, further enriching Nintendo’s ever-growing list of best-selling franchises.
In hardware, the Nintendo Switch family maintains a commanding presence in Japan.
Alongside the Switch 2's 140,026 unit sales, the Switch Lite and Switch OLED Model recorded 5,217 and 5,110 unit sales, respectively.
By comparison, the PlayStation 5 sold 3,581 units, with its Pro and Digital Edition variants contributing modestly.
