Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, the long-awaited entry in the acclaimed soccer RPG series by Level-5, is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2 next month.
Following several postponements, the development team has now officially provided details regarding the game’s technical performance across platforms, including anticipated resolutions and frame rates, bringing clarity to eager Nintendo fans ahead of its debut.
Level-5’s latest announcement sheds light on how Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will leverage the hardware capabilities of both Nintendo Switch systems.
In TV (docked) mode, Victory Road will run at 1080p resolution with 30 frames per second (FPS) on the current Nintendo Switch.
Meanwhile, on the new Nintendo Switch 2, the game will deliver an enhanced experience, supporting 4K resolution with a smooth 60 FPS during docked gameplay.
These upgrades are poised to showcase the graphical improvements and technological advancements made possible by the Switch 2’s more powerful hardware.
The development team summarized the technical specifications for all major platforms.
According to their statement, on PlayStation 5, players can expect 4K visuals at 60 FPS, while the PlayStation 5 Pro will offer up to 120 FPS at 4K resolution.
PlayStation 4 users will enjoy 1080p at 60 FPS, and PlayStation 4 Pro will enable 4K at 60 FPS.
Xbox Series X demonstrates the strongest frame rate capability, with support for 4K at up to 120 FPS, and Xbox Series S will provide 1440p at 60 FPS.
PC players can also experience the game in 4K at 120 FPS or higher, with the added benefit of 21:9 ultrawide monitor support, indicating Level-5’s commitment to a high-fidelity experience across platforms.
Additionally, Level-5 confirmed the inclusion of mouse controls, elevating the gameplay experience, particularly on advanced systems.
Notably, the newly announced Joy-Con 2 mouse mode will be available on the Switch 2, providing more control options.
However, this feature will not be accessible on the original Switch hardware.
Ahead of release, Level-5 has further engaged fans by unveiling several new trailers and sharing a music sample from the game’s soundtrack.
