Description

Level-5, renowned for its innovative role-playing experiences, has unveiled comprehensive details for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, the latest entry in its globally popular football RPG franchise.

Scheduled for release on November 13, 2025, the game will launch across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Built on the series’ tradition of immersive gameplay and expansive character rosters, Victory Road promises both technical advancements and robust new features that cater to longtime fans and newcomers alike. ## Platform Performance and System Specifications In a recent press presentation, Level-5 outlined precise system specifications for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road across each supported platform.

PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 Pro users can expect 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, while the PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Series X will offer performance at up to 120 frames per second in 4K.

Xbox Series S delivers visuals at 1440p and 60 frames per second.

For Nintendo Switch 2, the game is set to run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second in TV mode, presenting a significant leap over the original Nintendo Switch, which will operate at 1080p with 30 frames per second. PC gamers will benefit from 4K resolution and frame rates of 120 frames per second or higher, along with official support for 21:9 ultrawide monitors, further enhancing the immersive experience. ## Feature Updates: Mouse Controls and Cross-Play Considerations Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino explained that several platform-specific features initially planned for the game—such as switching between portrait and landscape modes and utilizing stylus controls—have been removed to ensure a balanced competitive environment and consistent cross-play experience.

Hino commented that supporting such unique features across every platform proved impractical, particularly given the push for broad cross-platform play. Instead, Victory Road will introduce mouse controls, reflecting a thoughtful approach to cross-platform input fairness.

At launch, mouse controls will be integrated into the Switch 2 and PC versions and will be added to the PlayStation 5 via a subsequent update.

Notably, these controls will not be available on the original Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4.

On Switch 2, mouse input is enabled through the bundled Joy-Cons, offering players a distinct method of interaction previously limited to select platforms. ## Player Bank and Progression Carryover Victory Road is set to become one of the largest titles in the franchise, boasting over 5,400 collectible characters.

According to Hino, this ambitious roster is supported by the Player Bank feature, which allows players to manage their vast collection and transfer characters between the bank and their primary team.

Importantly, progress is not restricted to a single title—players will be able to carry over their Player Bank save data into future Inazuma Eleven games, ensuring that collection efforts are never lost and encouraging long-term engagement with the series. ## Inagle: Official Player Search System Launch Coinciding with Victory Road’s expanded content, Level-5 will launch the official online player search system, Inagle, on October 22.

Accessible via PC or smartphone browsers, Inagle enables users to browse player statistics and, post-launch, create and share custom teams.

Some features will remain restricted until the full release of the game, but the system aims to foster a deeper sense of community and competition. ## Special Broadcast Event To further engage fans, Level-5 will host a special four-hour broadcast event titled “Inazuma Eleven New Era Kickoff Eve Festival: Four-Hour Special Broadcast” on November 10.

While detailed programming is yet to be revealed, Level-5 confirmed appearances from key figures involved with the series. With Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road set for a November 13, 2025 release, Level-5 continues to push innovation in both gameplay and community interaction, reinforcing its standing as a leader in sports RPG development across the Nintendo eShop and beyond.
