Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation Receives Asian Release with English Support

Eastasiasoft has announced a major release for JRPG fans in Asia: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation will launch for Nintendo Switch this fall, complete with English and Traditional Chinese text support.

This new edition of the fan-favorite role-playing game arrives through a partnership with developer Idea Factory, and features both English and Japanese voiceovers.

Notably, this version includes a physical release, catering to collectors and enthusiasts of the Neptunia series.

The Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise is renowned for its unique blend of meta-humor, anime-inspired visuals, and deep customization.

In Re;Birth3 V Generation, players control Neptune, who finds herself trapped in a quirky, alternate dimension of Gamindustri, modeled after the gaming culture of the late 1980s.

To return to her own world, Neptune must gather shares and outwit the devious Seven Sages, a group intent on banishing CPUs from Gamindustri.

The game is a comprehensive remake of the third series entry and comes loaded with previously released extras and fresh content. Eastasiasoft confirmed that both digital and physical editions will be available for the Nintendo Switch.

Pre-orders for the limited edition collector’s box, restricted to only 2,000 copies, will open on August 7 at 11 PM Hong Kong time.

The limited edition includes a range of exclusive items: the game cartridge, a manual, soundtrack CD, art book, Joy-Con stickers, a mini case, acrylic standees, and a numbered certificate, all housed in a specially designed collector’s box. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation offers several new features for Switch players, such as the ability to customize attack combinations with up to five moves, modify gameplay mechanics via Plans that alter dungeon treasures and enemy difficulty, and access an enhanced Stella’s Dungeon mini-game that supports party companions.

These additions expand strategic options and replay value for both newcomers and long-time fans. Previously, Idea Factory had plans to release the Hyperdimension Neptunia titles in western territories.

However, these plans were changed after it was determined that the games did not fully meet Nintendo’s content guidelines at the time.

This Asian release is significant as it delivers one of the franchise’s most beloved entries with robust language support and physical availability, enabling new and existing fans to enjoy the title on the Nintendo Switch platform. With its engaging storyline, cast of memorable characters, and abundance of collectible content, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation remains a staple in the JRPG genre.
