Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Adds Free Angry Birds Content Drop on Nintendo Switch

SEGA has officially unveiled its latest collaboration, bringing the beloved Angry Birds franchise to its popular racing game, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

Available today, the new free Angry Birds Content Drop introduces new gameplay features and celebrates cross-franchise synergy, enhancing the game’s already dynamic offerings on Nintendo Switch and additional platforms.

Beginning April 16, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds players can hit the tracks as Red, the iconic character from Angry Birds.

This crossover event is live now and runs through Sunday, April 19, 4:59 PM PT.

During this limited-time festival, players can earn special points for unlocking exclusive festival-themed decals, gadgets, and other in-game rewards.

The Angry Birds Content Drop for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is packed with new content to refresh the player experience.

Highlights include:

- Red from Angry Birds, now fully playable on the racetrack.

- Red's signature vehicle, the Super Roaster, making its debut.

- A set of unique emotes and sound effects for players to use.

- Three original music tracks added to the in-game Jukebox, featuring “Go!

Theme,” “Go!

Theme (Final Lap),” and the instantly recognizable “Angry Birds Theme.”

According to the official SEGA announcement, all players who own either the Standard (physical or digital) or Digital Deluxe editions of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will automatically gain access to the Angry Birds Content Drop at no additional cost.

SEGA emphasized the importance of updating the game to the latest version to ensure a smooth download and integration of the new content.
