Nintendo has officially announced the upcoming removal of Fitness Boxing 2 from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
The rhythm-based exercise game, developed by Imagineer and published by Nintendo, is scheduled to be delisted from the digital storefront on November 23, 2025, at 23:59 local time.
After this date, digital purchases of Fitness Boxing 2 will no longer be possible, though existing owners will retain the ability to redownload the title if they have previously purchased it.
This development was first shared by Nintendo UK on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, without an accompanying explanation for the decision.
As of this announcement, only Nintendo UK has confirmed the removal, but it is widely anticipated that other regions will align with this schedule, following standard company procedure.
Fitness Boxing 2, which launched for the Nintendo Switch in December 2020, quickly became a popular option for players seeking home-based fitness routines with a gaming twist.
Since its release, the title has attracted a dedicated community and earned recognition for its accessible approach to exercise and interactive gameplay.
Physical copies of the game will continue to be available through retailers after the digital version is delisted, as was also the case when the original Fitness Boxing was removed from the Switch eShop in 2023.
A Nintendo representative, via their public statement on X, noted that while Fitness Boxing 2 will no longer be purchasable digitally after November 23, customers can rest assured that previously bought copies remain accessible for redownload.
No formal reason for the game's removal was given, but the community believes it may be related to expiring music licenses, a factor which previously contributed to similar delistings within the series.
As of now, Fitness Boxing 3 remains available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, and no plans for its removal have been announced.
The continued presence of the third installment suggests ongoing support for the popular fitness franchise, though fans are encouraged to obtain copies of previous entries before removal deadlines if they wish to complete their collection.
For those interested in Fitness Boxing 2, the official delisting date underscores the importance of acting quickly to secure a digital copy.
The game's success demonstrates Nintendo’s continued investment in innovative wellness titles, contributing to the diversity and appeal of the Switch’s gaming library.
