Square Enix has confirmed a headline panel for Final Fantasy VII Revelation at New York Comic Con on 8 October 2026 as the developer builds momentum for the third and final chapter of the remake trilogy ahead of the game's Nintendo Switch 2 release next spring.

The session will appear on NYCC’s main stage and brings together the game's director and its English voice cast to introduce characters and share behind-the-scenes material.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is the climactic finale to Square Enix’s multi-part remake of the original Final Fantasy VII.

The title is slated to arrive on Nintendo’s next-generation hardware, the Nintendo Switch 2, next spring.

Square Enix previously announced a separate presentation of the third chapter at Opening Night Live, underscoring the company’s promotional push across multiple major events.

Square Enix’s NYCC description indicates that fans will see the full principal English voice cast together with director Naoki Hamaguchi.

Rewritten for clarity, the company says attendees can expect the full main English voice cast on stage alongside Hamaguchi, who will discuss the recording process, explain the characters featured in the third game, and present exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the voice sessions.

Earlier promotional plans also include a Final Fantasy VII Revelation panel at PAX West on 5 September 2026.

That presentation will feature director Naoki Hamaguchi alongside battle director Teruki Endo and will be streamed live, giving both in-person and remote audiences access to developer commentary on combat systems and production details.

The announcement follows Hamaguchi’s confirmation that the previous voice actor for Sephiroth will not return for the third entry; Square Enix has stated a new actor has already been confirmed for the role.

Developers and fans will be watching these event panels closely for additional footage, cast insights, and technical discussion ahead of the Switch 2 launch window.

For fans tracking release timelines and platform availability, these scheduled panels at PAX West and New York Comic Con — together with Opening Night Live coverage — represent Square Enix’s primary opportunities to showcase Final Fantasy VII Revelation in the months before it arrives on Nintendo’s next hardware and becomes available to a broader audience via Nintendo’s digital storefronts.
