Square Enix has confirmed a New York Comic Con panel for Final Fantasy VII Revelation that will bring the game's director and the full main English voice cast to the event, the publisher announced.

The appearance arrives as Square Enix builds promotion for the third and final chapter of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, which the company has said will come to Nintendo Switch 2 next spring.

The NYCC panel is scheduled for October 8, 2026, on the main stage and will feature game director Naoki Hamaguchi alongside the primary English-speaking cast.

According to the panel description provided by Square Enix, the session will introduce the ensemble of actors to fans, include stories from their recording sessions, offer discussion about the characters appearing in the third game, and present exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the voice recordings.

In journalistic terms: Square Enix says the event will assemble the full main English voice cast of Final Fantasy VII Revelation on stage with director Naoki Hamaguchi to share recording anecdotes, explain their interpretations of characters in the concluding chapter of the remake trilogy, and screen exclusive behind-the-scenes clips from the game's production.

The NYCC announcement follows confirmation of an earlier panel at PAX West on September 5, 2026, where Hamaguchi will appear with the game's battle director, Teruki Endo.

That PAX West session is set to be livestreamed, giving a broader audience access to developer commentary and gameplay discussion.

Square Enix has also flagged a "new look" at the third chapter that will be shown at Opening Night Live prior to the NYCC and PAX West panels, as part of its wider promotional schedule for the title.

Separately, Hamaguchi has confirmed that the voice actor who played Sephiroth in earlier entries will not return for the third game; Square Enix has said a new voice actor has been cast for the role.

Square Enix has not announced a firm release date beyond the broad "next spring" window for the Nintendo Switch 2 release.

These live appearances form a key part of Square Enix's strategy to spotlight the creative team and voice performers behind Final Fantasy VII Revelation as the company prepares for the title's launch on Nintendo's next-generation hardware.
