Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, with a confirmed release date of January 22, 2026.

This announcement follows months of anticipation from fans and marks a significant addition to the Switch 2's software lineup. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, developed by Square Enix, is an enhanced edition of the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Originally released in April 2020 for PlayStation 4 and later updated for PlayStation 5, Intergrade features upgraded graphics, performance improvements, and additional story content focusing on Yuffie Kisaragi, a fan-favorite character.
