Telenet Shooting Collection Set for Steam Debut in November 2025

has officially announced that the Telenet Shooting Collection will be launching on Steam on November 10, 2025.

This long-awaited PC debut follows the collection’s initial release on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Japan on June 8, 2023, followed by its subsequent arrival on the Western Nintendo eShop later that year.

Despite finding early success and a dedicated following among shoot 'em up enthusiasts on Nintendo Switch, the compilation has yet to appear on PC platforms—until now. The Telenet Shooting Collection for Steam arrives as Edia continues to expand the legacy of Telenet Japan, a renowned developer celebrated for its inventive and high-intensity arcade shooters.

In a recent announcement, Edia confirmed that the Steam edition will feature a free Telenet Shooting Collection Launcher.

Players can then purchase four separate DLC add-ons, priced at $4.99 each, offering an à la carte experience of classic shoot 'em ups from Telenet Japan and its subsidiaries. The collection brings together four iconic titles: - **Granada**: This all-direction, fast-paced tank shooter from 1990, based on the Sega Mega Drive version, puts players in the seat of the formidable armored vehicle Granada, challenging them to overcome waves of enemies and imposing bosses with tactical fire control. - **Avenger**: A strategic helicopter shooter, also from 1990 and modeled after the PC Engine release, offers mission-based gameplay and demanding difficulty as players pilot the advanced combat chopper Avenger to reclaim the superweapon VOLOS. - **Gaiares**: This 1990 title, ported from the Sega Mega Drive, is known for its unique weapon-absorption mechanic.

Players must defend Earth by capturing enemy firepower and turning it against extraterrestrial invaders in a race for survival. - **Psychic Storm**: Released in 1992 on the PC Engine, Psychic Storm allows for two-player cooperative gameplay.

It features massive bosses, spectacular fighter transformations, and the powerful "Psychic Storm" attack for dynamic, action-packed shmup battles. According to Edia Co., Ltd, the Steam version will support a variety of modern enhancements, including customizable key configurations, compatibility with a wide range of controllers, video filters, and display options.

Additionally, it will support Steam Achievements and introduce a rewind feature to help players master each level at their own pace.
