Super Yanoman Collection December 10 2026 Release on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC

Edia, the Japanese developer and publisher, will release the Super Yanoman Collection on Thursday, December 10, 2026 in Japan.

The compilation brings three Super Famicom-era titles originally published by Yanoman to modern platforms — Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC — and will be available in physical form for PS5 and Switch.

In its announcement, Edia described the package as a compilation of three distinct Yanoman-published Super Famicom games from the early 1990s, restored and reissued for contemporary platforms.

The collection includes the 1992 role-playing title Song Master, the 1993 action game Trinea, and the 1994 strategy RPG Feda: The Emblem of Justice.

Game origins and developers

- Song Master (1992): Published by Yanoman and developed by Japan Art Media (JAM).

The game features an original story credited to Yanoman's Kazutoyo Ishii about a boy who learns magic through music and seeks a master to control his powers.

An unfinished fan translation of Song Master exists.

- Trinea (1993): Also developed by Japan Art Media and published by Yanoman.

Trinea is an action game linked narratively to the Game Boy title Penta Dragon.

- Feda: The Emblem of Justice (1994): Developed by Max Entertainment and originally released for the Super Famicom.

Feda later received a remake for the Sega Saturn in 1996 and a sequel on the original PlayStation in 1997.

The Super Famicom release was the subject of a fan translation produced by groups Magic-Destiny and Stealth Translations, which later merged to form Dynamic Designs.

Edition details and pricing

Edia will offer a standard boxed edition and a Special Edition.

The standard physical release is priced at ¥8,580 (tax included).

The Special Edition retails for ¥16,280 (tax included) and includes an art booklet, soundtrack CD, acrylic stand, and a Yanoman jigsaw puzzle.

First-run packaged copies will include the bonus title Penta Dragon.

Availability and localization

The Super Yanoman Collection is confirmed for a Japan release on December 10, 2026 across the listed platforms.

As of the announcement, no Western release or localization has been announced.

Digital distribution details (such as availability on Nintendo eShop, Steam, or PlayStation Store) have not been specified beyond the platform list.

For players and collectors interested in 16-bit-era Japanese releases, the Super Yanoman Collection offers official re-releases of three historically Japan-exclusive titles, including a physical Special Edition aimed at collectors.
