Earthion Release Date Confirmed for Switch and More: Deluxe Editions and 8BitDo M30 Gamepad Announced

Earthion will launch worldwide on July 31, 2025 and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Steam.

This marks a major milestone for Koshiro, a revered figure in retro and chiptune game music, now stepping back into the limelight with a fresh entry in the shmup genre. Superdeluxe Games is set to launch the Earthion Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on October 30, 2025.

This premium package will offer collectors exclusive items and is scheduled to debut on the same day as the limited edition version distributed by Limited Run Games, allowing fans multiple options to celebrate Earthion’s arrival. Additionally, third-party accessory maker 8BitDo is preparing to release a special Earthion Edition of its popular M30 Bluetooth Gamepad.

Designed specifically with retro gaming in mind, the 8BitDo M30 is widely favored by enthusiasts of classic titles on the Nintendo Switch and other modern platforms.
