JAKKS Pacific Unveils DC x Sonic the Hedgehog Crossover Toy Line for Fall 2025 Release

JAKKS Pacific, renowned for its innovation in the toy and consumer products industry, has officially announced an exciting new licensing partnership that unites two of pop culture’s most beloved franchises: Sonic the Hedgehog and DC’s Justice League.

Discovery Global Consumer Products, JAKKS Pacific is set to launch a dynamic toy line inspired by the much-anticipated DC x Sonic the Hedgehog crossover event. The upcoming range will spotlight fan-favorite characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog and DC universes, including Sonic, Shadow, and Tails, alongside iconic Justice League heroes such as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

Each figure and collectible will showcase reimagined crossover designs that blend the signature elements of both brands.

The toy line will feature a wide array of products, from highly articulated action figures to vehicles and plush toys, offering fans of all ages the opportunity to celebrate the vibrant energy and legacy these properties represent. Kevin Feely, Vice President of Marketing at JAKKS Pacific, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating that the company is proud to lead the production of toys for a crossover of this magnitude.

Feely explained that merging the distinctive speed and flair of Sonic with DC’s legendary superheroes allows for the creation of products that are both innovative and highly collectible, ensuring that both Sonic and DC fans can look forward to a remarkable experience. The DC x Sonic the Hedgehog toy line is slated for a Fall 2025 launch, with products arriving on shelves and online platforms globally at that time.

This latest partnership builds upon JAKKS Pacific’s longstanding success with Sonic-branded merchandise, underscoring the company's dedication to delivering high-quality, narrative-driven toy experiences to the global market. The toy release closely follows the debut of the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog crossover comic series, which launched in March 2025.

This five-issue limited run, published by DC Comics, sees the Justice League and Team Sonic teaming up to thwart the dimension-spanning villain Darkseid, who threatens both their worlds.

The comics are penned by Ian Flynn—widely known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series—with artwork from Adam Bryce Thomas, and are scheduled for monthly publication through July 2025. With the collaboration between JAKKS Pacific, SEGA, and Warner Bros.

Discovery Global Consumer Products, both the toy and comic book releases mark a significant milestone in the history of video game and superhero crossovers.
