Kemco's Covenant of Solitude Launches on Nintendo Switch eShop This June

Kemco continues its commitment to revitalizing classic role-playing games with the upcoming Nintendo Switch release of Covenant of Solitude.

Originally developed by Magitec and launched on mobile platforms in 2013, Covenant of Solitude is set to arrive as a digital download on the Nintendo Switch eShop on June 6, 2025. Covenant of Solitude stands out as a traditional turn-based JRPG, immersing players in a world where a select few, known as genies, possess the unique ability to control monsters.

The game follows Fort, a young orphan residing in the isolated village of Listy at the edge of a vast kingdom.

As Fort, players can forge alliances with monsters spanning four distinct tribes: Dragons, Fairies, Beasts, and Vampires.

Each contracted monster can be assigned a class, enabling diverse party-building strategies and allowing players to combine the unique strengths of each tribe and class to tailor their team for combat challenges. Kemco's official game overview describes a story where those with genie blood, like Fort, face hostility and discrimination, often being manipulated for their abilities.

The narrative invites players to experience an unforgettable journey as Fort seeks to protect those he cares about, questioning the very legacy that sets him apart. In addition to the base adventure, players can enhance their journey by purchasing Solitude Points on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

These points unlock supplementary content, including valuable items and access to secret dungeons, enriching the story and expanding gameplay possibilities.
