Nintendo has unveiled the newest round of weekly challenges for the recently released Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.

This high-intensity retro celebration gives players the chance to test their speedrunning skills across memorable moments from 13 iconic NES games, delivering fresh content and competitive opportunities for fans of classic Nintendo titles. From now until April 14 at 1:59 a.m.

PT, players can participate in five featured events: 'Run for Your Money' (Super Mario Bros), 'Octorok Onslaught' (The Legend of Zelda), 'Meta-Knights Strike' (Kirby's Adventure), 'Cliff Jumping' (Zelda II: The Adventure of Link), and 'Curtain Call: Roy' (Super Mario Bros.

Once live, these challenges become a global proving ground, inviting players to showcase their skills, compete for top times, and climb the rankings in competitive speedrunning scenarios inspired by Nintendo’s most beloved franchises.
