Indie publisher Devolver Digital and developer Kenny Sun have struck gold with the roguelite sensation Ball x Pit, which has sold over 400,000 copies within its first week on the market.

Launching across Nintendo Switch, Xbox Game Pass, and PC, the addictive arcade roguelite has rapidly captured the attention of gamers worldwide with its tight controls and replayable design. Ball x Pit debuted in October 2025 to enthusiastic community response.

According to official figures, the game also generated more than 4,000 user reviews on Steam, with a remarkable 95% rating as ‘Overwhelmingly Positive.’ At its launch peak, the title attracted over 34,500 concurrent players and amassed over 1.3 million hours watched on Twitch, alongside 5.6 million views on video-on-demand platforms.

The robust Twitch integration proved successful, as over 1,400 players utilized these interactive features.

Ball x Pit also climbed to the #4 spot on Steam’s Top Played games list for the Steam Deck in its launch week.
