Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Attack on Titan Collaboration Announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Ubisoft has officially unveiled a highly anticipated Attack on Titan crossover event for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, coinciding with the game’s forthcoming launch on Nintendo Switch 2.

This special content introduces an all-new quest and expands the long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise with fresh narrative elements and exclusive rewards inspired by the iconic anime series Attack on Titan. Assassin’s Creed Shadows marks the latest installment in Ubisoft’s celebrated action-adventure series, bringing a rich new storyline set in feudal Japan to Nintendo’s next-generation console, the Nintendo Switch 2.

The Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available starting December 2, 2025, with the Attack on Titan collaboration quest active until December 22. In this crossover, players find protagonists Naoe and Yasuke drawn into a mysterious adventure following rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations echoing through the shadows.

Their journey is guided by Ada, a uniquely dressed woman who enlists their help to rescue her friend from an enigmatic cult inside the depths of the Crystal Cave.

As sinister experiments take form and a formidable new enemy emerges, both heroes face life-threatening odds, relying on their ingenuity and combat prowess to survive. According to Ubisoft’s announcement, all players who have unlocked Yasuke as a playable character will be able to access this free event by traveling to the northeast region of Yamashiro, where the quest originates.

Once the mission is completed, participants will earn special in-game rewards, including a new katana and access to several hidden chests in the cave, enhancing gameplay and offering new collectible opportunities for dedicated fans. For more dedicated customization, Assassin’s Creed Shadows players can also purchase Attack on Titan-themed packs through the in-game store.

These premium cosmetic sets include a Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke, a Mikasa Ackerman-inspired outfit for Naoe, unique weapons, and a mount designed after the Survey Corps’ revered steeds—giving fans of both franchises a chance to personalize their gameplay experience. Ubisoft’s collaboration combines two beloved universes in a manner fitting the creative legacy of both Assassin’s Creed and Attack on Titan.

With a limited window for this crossover event and exclusive items only available during this period, Switch 2 players are encouraged to explore this new content as soon as Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on Nintendo’s latest hardware.
