Developed by Omega Force, the upcoming action title places players in the role of Scout Regiment members and promises both canonical and new story content that expands the series' lore.
Koei Tecmo stated that Attack On Titan 3 will arrive worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2 on 10 December 2026.
Omega Force, the studio behind the project, is positioning the game as a continuation of the franchise's high-mobility, titan-combat gameplay: players will ready blades and engage the Nine Titans while experiencing story elements tied to Attack on Titan's established characters and events.
Pre-order and special editions
Koei Tecmo has opened pre-orders for a SteelBook Launch Edition featuring ICONART, alongside a Digital Deluxe Edition.
The Digital Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with a digital artbook, a character customisation pack, an original equipment pack, a starter item pack, and a 72-hour early access key.
Customers who pre-order either a physical or digital copy will receive a Wings of Freedom Hoodie customisation as an early purchase bonus, while a Wings of Freedom Earrings customisation is offered as a digital pre-order bonus.
Cross-save incentives
Koei Tecmo also confirmed that players with existing save data from Attack On Titan 2 or Attack On Titan 2: Final Battle will receive additional in-game bonuses.
The publisher has said further details on these save-data bonuses will be shared at a later date.
Trailer and marketing
A new trailer accompanies the announcement, showcasing Omega Force's combat systems and a selection of story set pieces.
The trailer is part of the publisher's marketing rollout ahead of the December release and is available across Koei Tecmo's official channels.
Why it matters
Attack On Titan 3's confirmed Nintendo Switch 2 launch and the inclusion of multiple edition tiers underscore the continued commercial and creative investment in licensed anime adaptations on Nintendo platforms.
With pre-orders available now and clear incentives for existing series players, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are targeting both series veterans and Switch 2 owners ahead of the holiday 2026 window.
