Annapurna Interactive, the acclaimed publisher known for its curated selection of indie games, has announced its first major digital showcase of 2025.
The Annapurna Interactive Showcase will stream live on YouTube on February 24, 2025, at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT / 6pm CET.
The approximately 30-minute presentation will offer a comprehensive look at Annapurna’s upcoming release slate, with updates on key projects such as Wanderstop, Skin Deep, Wheel World, Faraway, Lushfoil, To a T, Morsels, and additional unannounced surprises.
Nintendo Switch owners have a special stake in the lineup, as Annapurna Interactive has delivered a strong portfolio to the Nintendo hybrid platform over the last eight years.
However, among the titles detailed in this showcase announcement, only Morsels is officially set for release on Nintendo Switch in the near future.
Developed by Furcula, Morsels was originally announced during the August 2024 Indie World Showcase with a projected launch window of February 2025.
This action roguelike has generated interest for its engaging mechanics and stylistic approach, making its impending Switch arrival highly anticipated.
As for the rest of the games mentioned—Wanderstop, Skin Deep, Wheel World, Faraway, Lushfoil, and To a T—their Nintendo Switch or potential Switch 2 compatibility has yet to be confirmed.
Historically, Annapurna Interactive has supported the Nintendo ecosystem with eventual ports of its indie hits, leaving the possibility open for these titles to join the Switch or Switch 2 library down the line.
The company’s consistent backing of Nintendo hardware makes any showcase a closely watched event for fans of the eShop and Nintendo Direct announcements.
This showcase also marks Annapurna Interactive’s first major public event since significant transitions within the company.
In 2024, following a dispute with owner Megan Ellison, the entire staff departed.
As revealed in January, the former team regrouped to establish a new studio, now responsible for managing Private Division’s game portfolio.
Despite these organizational changes, Annapurna remains a powerful force in indie publishing, with an impressive track record of critical and commercial successes.
Viewers seeking updates on Morsels’ exact Switch release date—and hints about which, if any, of Annapurna’s other titles may be Switch 2 bound—should tune in to the YouTube showcase.
While the full range of surprises has yet to be unveiled, Annapurna’s history of eShop successes suggests Nintendo fans are likely to see more of the publisher’s catalog in future Directs and Indie World Showcases.
With its digital event poised to set the tone for the year, Annapurna Interactive’s 2025 showcase is a must-watch for Nintendo Switch owners and industry followers alike.
Stay tuned to catch every announcement and confirmed release date as the showcase unfolds.
