Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition Launches on Nintendo Switch 2 for Alien Day

Survios has released Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, with the digital launch timed to coincide with Alien Day on Sunday, April 26.

The action-horror shooter is available worldwide on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch 2 platform, bringing the Xenomorph threat to Nintendo’s next-generation handheld-home-console hybrid.

Set narratively between Ridley Scott’s Alien and James Cameron’s Aliens, Alien: Rogue Incursion puts players in the role of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks.

After responding to a distress call on the remote world Purdan, Hendricks uncovers a Gemini Exoplanet Solutions blacksite facility that has been overrun by Xenomorphs.

Accompanied by her synthetic partner Davis 01, the character must navigate the compromised facility and confront the spread of the alien menace.

Survios says the Evolved Edition aims to replicate the films’ intense atmosphere, seeking to deliver a gameplay experience that captures the raw, visceral horror of the Alien franchise.

The studio frames the core challenge as a fight for survival against a ferocious and unpredictable Xenomorph incursion, positioning stealth, resource management and combat as central to progression.

On Nintendo Switch 2, the Evolved Edition includes platform-specific input options.

When a Joy-Con 2 controller is detached and placed on a surface, the system automatically switches to a precision mouse-aiming mode without requiring the player to change settings, enabling finer aim control on the new hardware.

Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition’s release on the Nintendo eShop marks the title’s arrival on Nintendo’s successor to the original Switch hardware.

The eShop listing provides the digital distribution point for the worldwide launch on Nintendo Switch 2.

With the launch coinciding with Alien Day, Survios’ release gives fans of the franchise and console newcomers a way to experience a story bridging the first two Alien films on Nintendo’s latest platform.

The game is available now on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2.
