Nubeo and Atari have reunited for a new limited-edition timepiece: the Ventana Automatic Atari Missile Command Limited Edition.
The watch pays homage to Atari's 1980 arcade classic Missile Command, a title originally developed and published by Atari that later appeared on systems such as the Atari 2600.
This release follows previous Nubeo x Atari collaborations, including themed watches honoring Asteroids and Space Invaders.
The Ventana Automatic Atari Missile Command Limited Edition is offered in four colorways — Assault Yellow, Strike Green, Command Black, and Vector Red — with Nubeo producing 100 pieces of each variant, for a total of 400 units.
The company has priced the watch at £455 per piece.
Nubeo describes the model as a carefully crafted mechanical piece intended for collectors and fans of classic arcade design.
In a restated description, Nubeo presented the Ventana Automatic as a bold mechanical timepiece and a collectors’ tribute to one of gaming’s most memorable arcade moments.
The design deliberately references Missile Command’s battlefield interface: the hour, minute and second hands are represented by a planet, a crosshair and a crescent moon, respectively.
The stainless-steel case back carries the Atari logo and small pixelated missiles are engraved on the surrounding case, making the gaming inspiration explicit.
Journalist Jack Yarwood, reflecting on Nubeo’s prior Atari collaboration, noted that the Torrent Automatic Atari Rainbow Limited Edition referenced classic console design but did not overtly display game-related elements aside from a logo on the dial.
By contrast, the Ventana Automatic places clear Missile Command iconography at the forefront of its design language.
This release is a physical collector’s product and not a software title; it is unrelated to platform launches or digital storefronts such as the Nintendo Switch eShop or Nintendo Direct announcements.
Interested buyers can find further purchase details and availability through Nubeo’s official channels.
The Ventana Automatic Atari Missile Command Limited Edition represents a continued intersection of horology and video game nostalgia, and adds to the growing catalog of retro gaming–inspired collector accessories from Atari and licensed partners.
