This announcement from publishers Clouded Leopard Entertainment and Spiral Up Games marks a significant expansion onto consoles for an indie title that has already achieved top critical and commercial success on Steam.

Developed by Shanghai-based studio The Swordman Studio and published by Singapore's Spiral Up Games, Wandering Sword first made its debut on Steam in September 2023.

The game's reception has been extraordinary: it boasts over 31,000 user reviews and an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating—an impressive 94% approval rate as of this writing—establishing it as one of the most highly regarded indie RPGs in recent memory. Wandering Sword transports players into a living wuxia world, blending hand-crafted pixel art with immersive 3D backdrops.

Players take on the role of a young swordsman who, after surviving a violent conflict, embarks on a path to mastering martial arts and fulfilling their destiny.
