Wholesome Games has officially announced that Wholesome Direct 2025 will stream live on Saturday, June 7, 2025, starting at 9am PT (12pm ET).
This annual showcase, known for shining a light on the vibrant world of indie games, will be broadcast across both YouTube and Twitch platforms, continuing its partnership with the larger Summer Game Fest event.
For 2025, Wholesome Games received an impressive number of nearly 1,500 game submissions.
From these, the team has meticulously curated a lineup of approximately 60 titles described as "emotionally resonant." The presentation will include world premieres, exclusive demo announcements, updates, and additional surprises from a diverse range of independent developers and publishers.
This year’s roster features well-known names in the indie development scene, such as Playstack, btf Games, ustwo games, Wētā Workshop, and Electric Saint.
Fans can look forward to in-depth updates on previously announced projects, including Wholesome Games Presents titles like Is This Seat Taken? and MakeRoom.
In addition, the showcase will unveil a new, yet-to-be-announced partnership, generating further excitement for fans of heartfelt, innovative games across platforms including Nintendo Switch.
In a significant philanthropic move, Wholesome Direct 2025 has also announced that all proceeds from official merchandise sales will benefit Point of Pride, an independent non-profit organization.
Point of Pride focuses on supporting and saving trans lives by facilitating access to gender-affirming care.
