Cult Classic OFF RPG Set for Nintendo Switch Release in 2025, Featuring Expanded Content and Collector’s Editions OFF, the acclaimed independent RPG developed by Unproductive Fun Time, is officially making its way to Nintendo Switch in 2025.

Originally launched in 2008 as a French-language RPG, OFF quickly earned a reputation as one of the most influential indie games in the genre, lauded for its unique narrative and atmospheric design. The game first caught attention for its unconventional storytelling and haunting themes.

A surge in international interest led Unproductive Fun Time to approve a fan-made English translation in 2011, cementing OFF’s global cult status.

Now, nearly two decades since its debut, the game is poised to welcome a new generation of players on Nintendo’s hybrid console. In this reimagined Switch edition, players will guide the enigmatic protagonist known as the Batter.

Tasked with a mysterious mission, the Batter journeys through a surreal, monochrome world filled with ghosts and strange denizens, seeking to bring purity where hope has vanished. The Nintendo Switch release introduces significant updates, including a redesigned battle system as well as additional content.

Players can explore entirely new areas and challenge hidden bosses, all crafted by the original creator, Mortis Ghost.

Fangamer, a well-known distributor of collector’s editions and indie games, has announced an exclusive physical collector’s edition for OFF on Nintendo Switch.

This special edition includes: - The physical game cartridge - A Batter bobblehead statue - A set of six Zodiac cards within a foil-embossed pass case - A 16-page prequel comic titled "Of," authored by Mortis Ghost The standard retail version also offers an instruction manual, reversible cover art, and a "Memories of the Park" souvenir art card—a package designed for collectors and series devotees alike.
