Reonu’s OoT unJPEG rebuilds each static backdrop as an actual 3D model rather than a flat image. The artist has said they are specifically trying to reproduce the original Nintendo 64 visual style rather than the later 3DS remake’s look. Reonu explained that they are using Blender and Fast64 to recreate the pre-rendered environments and combined the entire market area into a single scene to eliminate load screens and create seamless navigation.
