The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Expands Series Lore and Confirms Its Place on the Downfall Timeline

The Legend of Zelda series, developed by Nintendo, has earned a reputation for intricate world-building and a famously tangled timeline, igniting passionate discussions with every new release.

The newest installment, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, continues this tradition, enriching the franchise’s lore and, for the first time, officially confirming its placement on the Downfall timeline.

Yet, Null’s lingering power causes rifts to appear, spawning monsters and iconic bosses familiar to dedicated fans. Echoes of Wisdom also introduces the Tris, beings formed by the goddesses to counteract Null’s influence.

Players partner with Tri, Zelda’s companion in this adventure, who serves as just one among thousands of Tris dedicated to patching these rifts.

Throughout the story, Zelda must rescue fellow Tris to repair the damage and restore peace to Hyrule.
