NIS America has officially announced that Ys X: Proud Nordics will receive a Western release on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for early 2026.

In line with recent trends for the platform, Ys X: Proud Nordics will be distributed via Game-Key Card, a digital-forward format already used for Disgaea 7 Complete and Trails Beyond the Horizon on Switch 2, as confirmed in newly published store listings. First developed by Nihon Falcom, Ys X: Proud Nordics builds upon the critically acclaimed action RPG foundation seen in the original 2023 Japanese release and its 2024 Western launch for Nintendo Switch.

The Proud Nordics edition debuted in Japan on July 25, 2023, delivering both core adventures and substantial new content.
