Nintendo has officially enhanced the gameplay experience in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom with the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Among the most anticipated updates is the limited weapon repair feature, introduced through the brand-new Zelda Notes app—addressing long-standing feedback from the Zelda community regarding weapon durability. Since its first implementation in Breath of the Wild, weapon durability has sparked heated discussions among fans and critics alike.

Beyond quality-of-life bonuses, the Nintendo Switch 2 Editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom bring significant technical enhancements, including improved frame rates and higher resolution visuals.
