These announcements were made official during the closing ceremony of the Pokémon World Championships 2025—an event globally recognized for celebrating competitive Pokémon play and the franchise’s cultural impact—garnering an enthusiastic reception from longtime fans and collectors alike. Debuting this August, Wooloo, the charming sheep Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield on Nintendo Switch, will become available as part of an exclusive online bundle beginning August 26, 2025.
