Owlcat Games and Silver Lining Interactive have announced the Voidfare Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader for Nintendo Switch 2, a retail physical release scheduled worldwide for 15 October 2026.
The edition is available to pre-order now through the Silver Lining Direct website and bundles the base CRPG with the Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis downloadable content, plus a package of digital goods and exclusive in-game items.

Owlcat, the studio behind narrative CRPGs such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, positions Rogue Trader as a story-driven tactical role-playing game set in the Koronus Expanse.
According to the developer’s description, players assume the role of a Rogue Trader — a hereditary privateer granted a Warrant of Trade that confers broad authority to command a trade protectorate and operate at the fringes of Imperial space with official sanction.
That Warrant of Trade provides the player with sweeping privileges and the ability to shape the fate of entire star systems through decisions that affect companions, factions, and the broader open world.
Key gameplay features outlined by the developer include exploration of the Koronus Expanse from the player’s personal voidship across multiple systems filled with threats and opportunities; a deep companion system that lets players recruit and influence a retinue of heroes, psykers, and xenos; consequential narrative choices that alter the game world; and isometric, turn-based tactical combat that emphasizes cover, positioning, environment, and powerful companion abilities.
