The single-player-focused action title arrives alongside a slate of eShop launches for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, plus new additions to Nintendo Music and time-limited promotions from Nintendo of America.
Splatoon Raiders — available now on Nintendo Switch 2 — puts players in the role of a mechanic who teams with Deep Cut, a trio of swashbuckling musicians, to raid the Spirhalite Islands.
The game features character customization, mechanical gadgets, ink-based weapons, and waves of enemy Salmonids as targets for treasure raids.
Nintendo notes that one member of Deep Cut will accompany players as a powerful AI bot, and the title supports cooperative play with up to three additional players online or via local wireless.
Nintendo Music updates this week spotlight the Donkey Kong Bananza soundtrack, which includes tracks such as “Ingot Isle Falls,” “Forest Layer: Bellhop Burb,” and “Banandium Root Tower.” Nintendo also released select Splatoon Raiders tracks to help players prepare for island raids, and added new Mario Kart World playlists, including Free Roam with Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Free Roam with Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
