Publisher Nicalis has announced a console release for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online, bringing the complete edition of the famously roguelike title to current-generation hardware.

The release packages The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth with every subsequent DLC expansion and introduces full online cooperative play on consoles for the first time.

Nicalis confirmed versions for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms.

The announced collection is described as the complete game, including Rebirth plus the Afterbirth, Afterbirth+, Repentance and Repentance+ expansions.

It offers the franchise's signature procedural runs with hundreds of items, dozens of playable characters and the many alternate paths and endings that have defined the series.

According to the publisher, the release also incorporates years of balance changes and other improvements implemented since the original launches.

In a statement summarizing the announcement, Nicalis said that console players can now descend together online.

Rewritten for clarity, the publisher explained that Repentance+ delivers every character, item, path and ending to console users, and — for the first time on consoles — adds full online cooperative play for up to four players.

Key features listed by Nicalis include full online cooperative play for up to four players on console, the complete package of Rebirth and all DLC, rebalanced items and improvements from years of updates, and the randomized run structure fans expect.

The company also confirmed that physical copies will be produced for Nintendo Switch 2, while digital-only releases are planned for Nintendo Switch 2 eShop listings as well as the PlayStation and Xbox digital storefronts for PS5 and Xbox Series.

A trailer was published alongside the announcement, and Nicalis provided additional details about the edition and its feature set.

No specific release date was announced in the initial information.

Fans interested in the Switch 2 physical release and the new online co-op features should watch official channels and the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store and Xbox Store pages for further updates from Nicalis and retail partners.

For players who have followed The Binding of Isaac across PC and previous console generations, Repentance+ Online represents the first opportunity to play the definitive edition together online on consoles, with the Nintendo Switch 2 getting retail discs in addition to a digital release.
