Tetris 99 Launches 48th Maximus Cup Featuring Donkey Kong Bananza Theme for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has officially announced the 48th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99, bringing an exciting Donkey Kong Bananza theme to the popular puzzle battle royale on Nintendo Switch.

This event marks a milestone as the first major Tetris 99 promotion of the Nintendo Switch 2 era, reflecting Nintendo's ongoing commitment to keeping its flagship online titles fresh and engaging. Tetris 99, developed by Arika and published by Nintendo, has been a staple of the Nintendo Switch Online service since its initial release in February 2019.
