PGA Tour 2K25 Launches on Nintendo Switch 2: Full Game Experience Arrives February 2026

PGA Tour 2K25, the latest entry in 2K’s critically acclaimed golf simulation series, is officially hitting the Nintendo Switch 2 on February 6, 2026.

Developed by 2K in partnership with Unity, this marks a significant milestone as the franchise continues to expand its reach across next-generation platforms.

The new release promises to deliver the most complete and immersive golf experience to date for Nintendo fans, bringing the full suite of PGA Tour 2K25 modes and features to both new and returning players. 2K has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 edition will support every core feature found in its console counterparts, including the celebrated MyCAREER mode, a robust Course Designer, and cross-platform Societies for online play.

Gamers can enjoy offline modes on the go and access the game’s extensive online suite whenever a connection is available, ensuring flexibility whether at home or on the move. At the heart of PGA Tour 2K25’s innovation is the all-new EvoSwing mechanic.

This gameplay system enhances realism with both Swing Stick and 3-Click Swing options, adapting to the player’s rhythm to closely simulate an authentic golf swing.

The entry also introduces the "Perfect Swing" experience, designed for accessibility: newcomers can learn club selection, shot types, and environmental variables before mastering advanced techniques, while seasoned players seeking a more relaxed session can rely on automated perfect shots. For the first time in franchise history, players will have the opportunity to compete in three major championships: the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, the 125th U.S.

Open at Oakmont Country Club, and The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club.

This expansion to iconic venues is accompanied by a lineup of 28 licensed courses, with favorites like TPC Scottsdale, Pebble Beach, and the debut of The Old Course at St Andrews Links. The roster features 11 professional golfers at launch, including legends such as Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Justin Thomas, and Lydia Ko, allowing players to step into the shoes of their favorite pros or create a personalized athlete through the enhanced MyPLAYER system.

This year, creation tools are more versatile than ever, with new skill trees, progression mechanics, equipment options, and affiliations with leading brands like Callaway, adidas, and Titleist. A refined MyCAREER mode offers a highly customizable journey, with additional gameplay moments, training events, and dynamic simulation options to suit every playstyle.

Furthermore, the Clubhouse Pass seasonal progression system offers plentiful rewards, including exclusive gear and consumables.

Each pass contains up to 100 reward tiers and is available from launch on all platforms including Nintendo Switch 2. Multiplayer enthusiasts will benefit from diverse match formats, daily and weekly ranked tournaments, and robust cross-platform Societies, ensuring active engagement with friends and the broader community.

Meanwhile, the upgraded Course Designer provides advanced creation tools and visual upgrades, empowering players to share and enjoy custom creations worldwide. PGA Tour 2K25 will be available both physically at retail and digitally via the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 starting February 6, 2026.

With its wide array of features, cross-platform connectivity, and commitment to both realism and accessibility, PGA Tour 2K25 is set to redefine the golf simulation experience for Nintendo’s latest console generation.
