Splatoon 3 Splatfest Results: Team Keyboard Wins Instrument-Themed Event on Nintendo Switch
Nintendo's vibrant multiplayer franchise Splatoon 3 has once again energized the Nintendo Switch community with its latest Splatfest—an online competition that asks players to pledge allegiance to themed teams and battle for supremacy in colorful ink-based turf wars.
The most recent Splatfest, held from March 23rd, 2024, was split into two unique themes depending on region, further highlighting the game's global appeal and cultural adaptability.
In regions including Europe, North America, and Australia, the community faced the musical question: “Which instrument would you play?”—with Team Drums, Team Guitar, and Team Keyboard vying for the majority of player votes and victories in turf war battles.
According to official Nintendo results published on March 25th, 2024, Team Keyboard emerged as the clear winner, amassing an impressive 500 points.
Team Guitar followed with 190 points, while Team Drums rounded out the leaderboard with 180 points.
The win further cements Splatoon 3’s focus on community involvement, competitive spirit, and creative themes tailored to its extensive international audience.
Players in Japan enjoyed a different Splatfest theme steeped in local flavor.
Instead of a music-based challenge, Japanese Splatoon 3 competitors decided on their preferred potato chip flavor.
Team Usushio (lightly salted) clinched victory with 535 points, leaving Team Norishio (salted seaweed) in second place with 300 points and Team Consommé in third with 35 points.
The Japanese event was further distinguished by specially printed Nintendo t-shirts, underlining Nintendo’s commitment to regional customization and the fan experience on Nintendo Switch.
In a statement recapping the event, Nintendo highlighted the enthusiastic turnout and spirited competition across all regions.
Players are encouraged to log in and collect their Super Snails—an in-game reward used to upgrade gear—as a thank-you for their participation during this worldwide weekend event.
Splatoon 3 launched exclusively for Nintendo Switch in September 2022 and quickly became a best-seller, lauded for its unique take on team-based shooters and its ongoing support through free updates and themed Splatfest events.
The game is available digitally on the Nintendo eShop and continues to foster a vibrant, competitive community.
