The announcement coincides with the transition of the title from Steam Early Access to its full 1.0 release.
TCG Card Shop Simulator broke out in Steam Early Access, where it sold more than 3.5 million copies before reaching 1.0.
The simulation places players in charge of a trading card game shop, giving them control over inventory, pricing, staffing, events and expansions as they grow a small store into a larger business.
Ding Shen Sia, founder of O.P. Neon Games, said he did not expect the title's Early Access success and thanked the community for its support.
He added that the 1.0 release will let players worldwide experience the full Tetramon TCG and see their shops come alive on additional platforms.
He also noted that each purchase evokes the memory of opening a first rare card and praised the community’s enthusiasm, saying he looks forward to sharing the studio's next steps.
Key features outlined by the developer include:
- Manage Your Shop: Design and organise a TCG store, arranging shelves and packs to improve the customer experience.
- Card Collection: Open booster packs, collect cards, pursue rare finds, and complete personal collections.
- Host Game: Set game formats and fees, host in-store matches, and maintain store cleanliness to retain players.
- Order Products: Stock different booster packs and card products, monitor trends, and adjust inventory to meet demand.
- Expand Your Business: Reinvest profits to grow shop space, unlock new card sets, and upgrade facilities to attract more customers.
The Nintendo eShop release on 15 September 2026 will make the game available across both the original Nintendo Switch and the successor Nintendo Switch 2.
This launch marks the completion of TCG Card Shop Simulator's journey from Early Access success to a fully released title on console platforms.
For players tracking Nintendo Direct updates or eShop releases, the confirmed date provides a clear target for when the card shop simulation will be playable on Nintendo hardware.
