Nintendo has released its comprehensive earnings report for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022, offering a detailed snapshot of Nintendo Switch hardware and software performance.

As the flagship console continues to define the gaming landscape, the latest sales milestones reinforce Nintendo’s enduring commercial success and industry impact. The earnings data confirms that the Nintendo Switch sold 4.11 million units globally over the final quarter, increasing its cumulative lifetime sales to an impressive 107.65 million units as of March 31, 2022.

Nintendo also provided an updated ranking of its all-time best-selling first-party Switch games.

The top performers remain consistent, with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe leading at 45.33 million units sold, followed by Animal Crossing: New Horizons (38.64 million), Super Smash Bros.

Ultimate (28.17 million), and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (26.55 million).

Other games rounding out the Top 10 include Pokémon Sword and Shield with a combined 24.27 million copies, Super Mario Odyssey with 23.50 million, Super Mario Party at 17.78 million, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl at 14.65 million, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! at 14.53 million, and Ring Fit Adventure closing out the top ten with 14.09 million units sold. These milestones continue to reflect Nintendo’s strategy of cultivating long-term value through strong software support and regular new content.
