Super Robot Wars Y Demo Now Available on Nintendo Switch eShop

Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced the release of a playable demo for Super Robot Wars Y, the upcoming grid-based tactical combat RPG, now available for download on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch.

This highly anticipated title brings together a diverse roster of iconic mecha and pilots from renowned anime series, building on the legacy of the Super Robot Wars franchise that spans more than three decades. Players can dive into the first chapter of Super Robot Wars Y through the new demo, gaining early access to the game’s unique tactical systems and expansive crossover roster.

The demo provides a seamless introduction to gameplay, including character creation, item management, and resource collection.

Importantly, progress made in the demo—including all character data, items, and resources—can be transferred directly to the full version of the game upon launch.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has also confirmed that players who complete the demo's first chapter will unlock exclusive rewards in the full release, incentivizing early engagement within the Super Robot Wars community. Developed by Forge Digitals, Super Robot Wars Y continues the series’ tradition of uniting legendary mecha warriors and anime heroes.
