Square Enix Cafe & Shop Los Angeles has launched a limited-time menu inspired by the Final Fantasy VII remake series, opening today in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo. The pop-up menu arrives at the cafe located at 316 E 1st St., Los Angeles, CA 90012 and will run across two promotional phases: Part One from October 16 to December 3, 2026, and Part Two from December 4, 2026 to January 21, 2027.
Themed dishes on offer include a five-item feature list that directly references characters and moments from the Final Fantasy VII universe. The headline items named by the cafe are: Cloud Dark Omelette Rice, Wall Market Noodle Stir Fry, Cloud Ascension, Sephiroth Octaslash, and Creamy Moogle Manju with Mako-Infused Tea. These dishes are presented as rotating selections that will change during the promotion.
In a statement accompanying the launch, Square Enix explained the concept behind the collaboration. The company said the menu is drawn from the world of Final Fantasy VII and that dishes and drinks are designed around iconic characters and locations. Square Enix added that guests can expect a rotating selection of themed items throughout the promotional period, with each item crafted to reflect the tone and personality of the characters that inspired them.
Reservations come with collectible perks: guests who book can receive a randomly selected exclusive placemat featuring artwork from multiple Square Enix properties, including new Final Fantasy VII imagery. The cafe also offers on-site lamination of the placemat for a nominal fee, and special themed coasters will be available during the promotional window.
This event is presented by Square Enix at the official Square Enix Cafe & Shop Los Angeles location in Little Tokyo. For reservations and the full menu breakdown, Square Enix directs interested visitors to the cafe’s reservation page and official website, where details on availability, seating, and additional promotional items are listed. The announcement follows a pattern of developer-themed cafe collaborations and provides Final Fantasy VII fans in the Los Angeles area with a temporary themed dining experience.
