SEGA and Jersey Jack Pinball have announced Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball, a licensed pinball machine line built to bring Sonic’s world to arcade and collector venues.

The machines are designed by veteran pinball designer Steve Ritchie — often nicknamed “The King of Flow” for his fast-shooting layouts and signature ball flow — and deliver physical play combined with digital presentation through a 27-inch HD LCD display and immersive audio.

The Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball lineup places players in the roles of Sonic and friends — including Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Amy — as they race through familiar environments, collect rings and confront Dr Eggman across seven stages.

Visuals and select musical tracks are drawn from Sonic Generations, with fan-favorite songs such as “Green Hill” and “Escape from the City” featured in the machine’s soundtrack.

Stages called out by the developer include Green Hill Zone and Chemical Plant.

Jersey Jack’s hardware package for all models includes a 27-inch HD LCD display, the company’s Immersive RGB-Lighting System, Micro-LED Gold Ring Displays, Wi‑Fi connectivity, Bluetooth audio and a high-score player camera.

The designer credit and presentation emphasize fast-paced pinball flow paired with licensed Sonic audio and visuals.

Jersey Jack Pinball founder Jack Guarnieri summarized the machine’s social intent, saying the release is intended to bring players together, proving pinball remains a shared, family-friendly form of entertainment where friends and families can compete and create memorable moments.

The Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball line is available now through authorised Jersey Jack Pinball distributors and directly from the Jersey Jack Pinball website in three configurations:

- Collector’s Edition — priced at $15,000 USD, featuring exclusive premium finishes, Super-Sparkle cabinet artwork, ‘Knuckles Red’ metallic laser-cut armor, a Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman mechanical topper with a super-wide LCD, a Gold Ring shooter knob and a Collector’s Edition plaque.

- Special Edition — priced at $12,000 USD, with premium finishes including Green Hill Zone battle cabinet artwork, ‘Sonic Blue’ armor, a dual-layer RGB-acrylic battle topper, shaker motor with haptic feedback and non-reflective Invisiglass.

- Arcade Edition — priced at $9,999 USD, built for high-traffic venues and continuous play.

All pricing and feature details are provided by Jersey Jack Pinball and SEGA at the time of the announcement.

These machines join Jersey Jack’s portfolio of licensed and premium pinball titles and mark a collaboration that pairs SEGA’s Sonic IP with Steve Ritchie’s design pedigree and Jersey Jack’s hardware features.
