Classic PC-88 Shooter Mirai Launches on Nintendo Switch eShop via EGGCONSOLE

Sein Soft's cult classic, the 1986 sci-fi shooter Mirai, is set to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch thanks to D4 Enterprise's ongoing EGGCONSOLE initiative.

Originally released for the NEC PC-88 in 1986, Mirai quickly garnered attention in Japan for its challenging gameplay and imaginative setting.

With this launch, Nintendo Switch users worldwide will have access to a piece of gaming history via the Nintendo eShop beginning May 1st, 2024. EGGCONSOLE is D4 Enterprise's celebrated series focused on bringing classic Japanese computer games from the 1980s and 1990s to modern hardware.

Prior to this re-release, Mirai was exclusively available on legacy platforms, including PC-88, PC-98, Sharp X-1, and Windows through Project EGG, a digital storefront dedicated to retro computer titles.
