Rhythm Paradise Groove demo and launch details
Nintendo has released a free demo for Rhythm Paradise Groove on Nintendo eShop ahead of the game's full launch on July 2.
The demo, titled Rhythm Paradise Groove: Demo Version, is playable now on Nintendo Switch and is also compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.
Pre-orders for the full release are available through Nintendo eShop and the Nintendo Store, with additional information hosted on Nintendo’s official website.
What the demo includes
The demo gives players access to the first five solo rhythm games from the full release and includes a local multiplayer tweezer timing mode.
Nintendo confirms that progress made in the demo can be transferred to the full game when Rhythm Paradise Groove launches on July 2, allowing players to carry over unlocked content and progress without restarting.
Gameplay highlights and modes
Rhythm Paradise Groove continues the series’ simple, music-first design: players press buttons in time with the beat to complete short, varied challenges.
The full game offers more than 80 new solo rhythm games that range from hoop-jumping to catching flying vegetables and swinging sledgehammers.
Nintendo describes the core mechanic as timing button presses to the beat across a wide variety of strange and inventive scenarios.
An unlockable mode in the retail version, called Beatspell, adds a new layer to the formula by letting players use rhythm to cast spells and defeat monsters.
The full release also supports local multiplayer for up to four players, with more than 30 cooperative and competitive rhythm games designed for shared sessions.
Developer and platform notes
Nintendo is the publisher behind Rhythm Paradise Groove; Nintendo UK provided the initial announcement and demo details.
The demo and full game are confirmed for Nintendo Switch and are playable on the newer Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, ensuring cross-generation compatibility for owners of either console.
How to play and where to buy
Players can download the free Rhythm Paradise Groove: Demo Version now from Nintendo eShop.
Pre-orders for the full Rhythm Paradise Groove are open on Nintendo eShop and the Nintendo Store ahead of the July 2 release.
