Ubisoft’s Rayman franchise is headed to Nintendo’s next console with Rayman Legends Retold, which launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 3, 2026.
The title builds on the foundation of Rayman Legends, the acclaimed platformer originally developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and first released in 2013, and brings reworked content and new features showcased in a recently released six-minute gameplay preview.
The trailer, presented with commentary from Elana Dunkelman—the voice actor for Barbara—walks viewers through the refreshed campaign, new realm content, and gameplay systems.

Rayman Legends Retold centers on a corruption spreading through the Glade of Dreams.
Dark Teensies have been manipulated and captured by a more sinister force originating in a newly introduced area called the Land of the Livid Dead.
Players are tasked with rescuing Teensies from captivity and restoring the realms’ guardians.

The Tree of Tranquility serves as a hub and the game’s central base, housing portals that connect players to the distinct realm hubs.
