Rayman Legends Retold Accessibility Options Detailed Ahead of December 3, 2026 Launch

Ubisoft will launch Rayman Legends Retold on December 3, 2026, and has published a detailed accessibility overview aimed at letting players customize gameplay to their needs.

The announcement outlines a wide array of assistive systems, visual and readability options, and input accommodations — including explicit support for keyboard/mouse and controller play on PC and full control remapping across platforms.

According to Ubisoft, every accessibility feature in Rayman Legends Retold can be enabled or disabled independently, and these settings remain available whether players are tackling the game solo or in cooperative sessions.

That granular control allows teams to tailor the experience per-player without forcing a one-size-fits-all configuration.

Gameplay assistance tools are a core focus.

Ubisoft describes mechanics such as Fairy Blessing, Golden Heart, and Autoshoot as optional systems that reduce difficulty or repetitive inputs.

Fairy Blessing is presented as an assist that can activate after repeated deaths at the same checkpoint — granting temporary invulnerability, flight, and automated revivals — and players may accept, decline, or permanently disable the offer.

Ubisoft also notes the feature can be turned on manually through in-game settings or by interacting with the character Betilla.

The developer has also built in multiple input-relief options.

Autoshoot is available for Dragon Rides, and the game offers hold/toggle alternatives alongside automatic versions of mechanics previously requiring precise timing (including Fairy Blaze, Fairy Radiance, and tickling interactions).

Ubisoft highlights these options as ways to reduce repetitive or demanding button inputs.

Visual and readability improvements are extensive.

Rayman Legends Retold includes a High Contrast Mode and gameplay element highlighting, adjustable HUD backgrounds, and an Arachnophobia Mode that removes background spiders.

Subtitle options include multiple font sizes, adjustable background opacity, speaker names, and a sans-serif alternative to improve readability.

Comfort and accessibility extend to camera, audio, and haptics: players can disable camera shake, adjust vibration intensity, invert axes for ride gameplay, and access separate audio sliders.

Ubisoft confirms there are no quick time events and that critical information will not be conveyed solely through audio cues.
